You have a choice of programmes and these are listed below with a short description of what they offer.
CUF60101 Advanced Diploma of Screen 2 years
APA International Film School has developed its Advanced Diploma of Screen training programme for students who wish to look into a
number of different production areas before making their choice of career and also want the opportunity of additional training in
their chosen area of specialisation. It is ideal for students who wish to prove that they are capable of working to normal
professional standards of conduct and ethics and who are looking for extensive practical experience on set to maximise their
chances of a quick entry into the industry and a rapid progression to their main area of interest.
CUF50401 Diploma of Screen 1 year
The Diploma of Screen is designed for students who are able to undertake a full year’s study in preparation for employment in the film
and television industry where their entry level should be as a specific crew member, not just as a general assistant. It will also
prepare them for more advanced and specialist study activities.
CUF40401 Certificate IV in Screen 6 Months
The Certificate IV in Screen training programme is an industry entry level training programme and the production work and topics have been
designed to be both serious from the training point of view thus maximising the chances of the student gaining employment, but less intense
than the requirements of the Diploma training programme.
As an entry level programme it is essential that the students can discover what it will be like to work in the industry and, of equal importance,
how they personally will relate to such a career.
